Their full metal jacket construction protects the bullet nose and helps support smooth operation in semi-automatic firearms.

Hornady FMJ bullets use a cold-swaged pure lead core to promote uniform balance and stability in flight. The rugged jacket is engineered to resist deformation and maintain consistency from bullet to bullet.

Select Hornady Traditional and FMJ bullets also use the company’s AMP® (Advanced Manufacturing Process) jacket, designed for extremely consistent concentricity and jacket-wall thickness.
