Pristine Barreled Action, Short Action Heavy, 24" M24 Barrel 5/8x24, 6mm Creedmoor

Built around the Pristine Short Action Heavy, this 6mm Creedmoor barreled action pairs the rigid short-action platform with a 24" stainless M24-contour barrel and 5/8x24 threaded muzzle. Each barreled action is assembled and tested by hand in our Fort Macleod, Alberta shop and is in stock now.

Drop it into your preferred stock or chassis, add your trigger and other components, and finish the rifle around the setup you want.

Sub-MOA Performance with Factory mmunition

Accuracy claims are easy to make, so we’d rather show the results. The target pictured was fired with this barreled action using Hornady Match 108 gr factory ammunition, producing a 5-shot group at 100 yards.

No handloads and no specially developed ammunition—just off-the-shelf Hornady Match.

Test rifle setup:

• Chassis: MDT ACC
• Scope: Telson TMV
• Trigger: TriggerTech Special
• Muzzle Brake: MDT Elite
• Bipod: MDT Ckye-Pod
• Ammunition: Hornady Match 108 gr

Stock or chassis selection, trigger, muzzle device, ammunition and shooter can all affect accuracy, so individual results will vary. This is how the barreled action performed in our test setup.

Built Around a Heavy Barrel

The Pristine Heavy Action provides a rigid, stable foundation designed to pair well with heavier barrel profiles. Its integral recoil lug and robust construction complement the M24 contour, making this configuration well suited to precision-oriented builds.

The heavier M24 profile adds mass where it counts, helping the rifle remain settled, balanced, and consistent through longer shooting strings while managing heat effectively.

Plenty of Room to Build it Your Way

Pristine actions are Remington 700 aftermarket compatible, giving you a broad selection of stocks, chassis systems, triggers and bottom metal.

The two-lug bolt also features interchangeable bolt heads, allowing bolt-face changes later without replacing the complete action.
