HSM 45-70 Gov't +P 430gr "Bear Load"

The HSM 45-70 Gov't +P 430gr Bear Load is heavy-duty factory ammunition built around a 430-grain hard-cast Round Nose Flat Point (RNFP) gas-check bullet. HSM’s Bear Load line is designed around deep, straight-line penetration rather than rapid expansion.

This +P load is listed at approximately 1,801 fps muzzle velocity with roughly 3,098 ft-lb of muzzle energy. The heavy projectile and hard-cast construction are intended for use where maximum penetration is the primary consideration.
