Barnes LRX-BT (Long Range X Boat Tail) Bullets are premium all-copper hunting projectiles engineered for high ballistic coefficients, excellent accuracy, deep penetration, and reliable expansion at extended distances. Their sleek profiles, long boattails, and polymer tips are designed to retain velocity and reduce drag downrange.

The polymer tip and re-engineered nose cavity help initiate expansion at lower impact velocities, while the monolithic copper construction provides strong weight retention and dependable penetration. Barnes states that many LRX bullets are designed to expand at lower velocities than comparable TTSX designs.

Pressure-relief grooves reduce bearing surface, while the long ogive and boat-tail geometry help improve aerodynamic efficiency. The LRX line is available in multiple calibers and bullet weights for a wide variety of hunting applications.
